Import Customs Clearing

Firstly, imported goods from other countries must go through customs clearance before they can be imported into South Africa. It involves cross-checking all the documents filed under the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT). Shipment can either enter the country directly or by transit bond after passing the inspection.
